歐佩克連續第四個月下調全球石油需求增長預測
歐佩克月報顯示，預計2024年全球原油需求增速為182萬桶/日，連續第四個月下調，此前預期為193萬桶/日；預計2025年全球原油需求增速為154萬桶/日，此前預期為164萬桶/日。
此外，歐佩克將2024年全球經濟增長預測從之前的3%上調至3.1%，將2025年全球經濟增長預測從之前的2.9%上調至3%；將2024年美國經濟增長預測從2.5%上調至2.7%，將2025年美國經濟增長預測從1.9%上調至2.1%。
美聯儲“大鷹派”：必須出現通脹意外，12月才會暫停降息
2026年FOMC票委、鷹派代表人物、明尼阿波利斯聯儲主席卡什卡利表示，他將關注即將公佈的通脹數據，以確定在美聯儲12月份的會議上再次降息是否合適。當被問及下個月什麼可能導致政策制定者暫停降息時，他表示：“必須在通脹方面出現意外，才能如此大幅度地改變前景。”
也門胡塞武裝稱襲擊美軍航母
當地時間12日晚間，也門胡塞武裝軍事發言人葉海亞·薩雷亞發表講話稱，胡塞武裝通過導彈和無人機襲擊了美軍“亞伯拉罕·林肯”號航空母艦，併成功挫敗其針對也門的空襲計劃。此外胡塞武裝還宣稱襲擊了另外兩艘紅海上的美軍驅逐艦。美方對此暫無迴應。

據彭博，知情人士稱，亞馬遜公司將關閉其免費收看、靠廣吿支持的流媒體服務Freevee，將其併入基於訂閲的Prime Video產品。由於這些變化尚未公佈，知情人士要求匿名。由於合同的限制，一些節目必須保持免費格式，亞馬遜正在設法繼續在其主要網站上提供這些節目。
Waymo機器人出租車服務登陸洛杉磯
