紅海局勢致運費飆升 全球航運業低潮期可能結束
過去數周穿越紅海的船隻遭到也門胡塞武裝的襲擊,導致航運公司改變航線並推高運費,有市場人士認為,情況有可能會扭轉去年航運業低迷的情況。
目前原先行經紅海的船隻已改道非洲好望角,導致每個40尺貨櫃的海運運費已升至高達10,000美元。物流公司OL USA表示,今年運費進一步上升,即使這種情況僅持續兩至三個星期,馬士基及中國遠洋等航運公司的利潤亦可能會增加數十億美元;若情況持續三至六個月,利潤將再次緩慢地接近2022年的水平。
富瑞報告提到,去年亞歐航線的40尺貨櫃平均運價約為1,550美元,目前已增加逾一倍至3,500美元以上,因此大幅提高一些航運公司的今年盈利預測,以馬士基為例,其今年EBITDA預測上調57%至93億美元。
本港航運股今日(16日)隨大市走低,東方海外(00316.HK)現報114.9元,跌0.43%。中遠海控(01919.HK)現報8.02元,跌1.23%。中遠海能(01138.HK)現報8.23元,跌1.79%。海豐國際(01308.HK)現報12.78元,跌2.59%。太平洋航運(02343.HK)現報2.3元,跌3.77%。
