澳洲央行行長:通脹為未來一至兩年關鍵挑戰
澳洲央行新任行長Michele Bullock警告,工資4%上升不能在沒有生產力提升下維持,又警告通脹為未來一至兩年的關鍵挑戰。
她警告勞工成本急速上升為央行抗擊通脹構成挑戰,工資上升需生產力提升以控制通脹壓力,但澳洲已多年沒有見到生產力增長。她亦反駁高通脹來自汽油價格、房租及能源供給側因素的觀點,指出高通脹亦有實質需求部分在內,並稱這是央行試圖處理的問題。
她表示,廣泛消費者貨品與服務高於平均的物價上升,為高通脹打下基礎,有清晰證據顯示情況是基於澳洲本土產生的壓力,來自總需求多於總供應。
