英倫銀行加息半厘 符合預期
英倫銀行一如預期加息半厘至2.25厘,承諾會繼續壓抑通脹上升,同時亦會在未來12個月內將國債持有量減少800億英鎊。
英倫銀行估計第三季度英國經濟將萎縮0.1%,部分原因與英國女王伊利沙伯二世國葬公眾假期有關,由於英國第二季經濟已出現萎縮,因此當地經濟已出現技術性衰退。至於通脹方面,英央行預計10月通脹將略低於 11%,估計未來數個月內保持在10%以上然後才會回落。
