美國確診首宗新冠變種Omicron確診個案，美股道指倒跌461點或1.3%，港股早市在金融及內房股帶動下造好。恆指低開134點後掉頭上升，曾升148點見23,807點，半日升55或0.23%，報23,714點；國指升41點或0.49%，報8,467點；恆生科技指數跌85點或1.41%，報5,973點。大市半日成交總額861.93億元，滬、深港通南下交易半日分別淨流入3.98億及13.06億元人民幣。
科技股方面，騰訊(00700.HK)升0.1%報469.4元，阿裏巴巴(09988.HK)跌3.3%報121.5元，美團(03690.HK)升1.1%報247.2元，小米(01810.HK)跌0.6%報19.44元，京東(09618.HK)及百度(09888.HK)各跌0.5%及0.9%。網易(09999.HK)旗下雲音樂(09899.HK)首日掛牌，半日收200.4元，較上市價205元跌2.2%。網易升1%報177.3元。嗶哩嗶哩(09626.HK)跌5.7%報489.8元，快手(01024.HK)跌3.5%報84.3元。
據報蘋果通知供應商iPhone13需求放緩，手機相關股比亞迪電子(00285.HK)及瑞聲(02018.HK)各跌4.2%，舜宇(02382.HK)跌3.3%。電競設備股雷蛇(01337.HK)獲主席等溢價5.6%提私有化，股價不升反跌8.6%報2.44元。電
內房股造好，藍籌內房股中海外(00688.HK)、龍湖(00960.HK)、潤地(01109.HK)及碧桂園(02007.HK)各升2.9%至3.5%。此外，世茂(00813.HK)及旭輝(00884.HK)各升5%及4.8%，中國金茂(00817.HK)、融創(01918.HK)及遠洋(03377.HK)各升3.4%至4.1%。恆大系方面，中國恆大(03333.HK)升0.9%，恆大物業(06666.HK)及恆大汽車(00708.HK)各跌4.6%及12.5%。
金融股普遍造好，匯控(00005.HK)升2%報44.35元，友邦(01299.HK)升0.3%報82.65元。中證監指禁止VIE企業境外上市消息不屬實，港交所(00388.HK)跌1.4%報428.8元。內銀股建行(00939.HK)、農行(01288.HK)及工行(01398.HK)各升1.5%至1.9%，民行(01988.HK)及招行(03968.HK)各升2.3%及2.4%。內險股人保(01339.HK)、中國平安(02318.HK)及財險(02328.HK)各升1.8%至2.2%。券商股廣發(01776.HK)、中金(03908.HK)、中信證券(06030.HK)、中信建投(06066.HK)及中國銀河(06881.HK)各升2.9%至3.9%。
其他股份方面，中國電力(02380.HK)折讓12.4%配股淨籌逾38億元，股價跌11.8%報3.83元。
