陳維民:過去廿年本港日均外匯交易額增長逾六倍
金管局副總裁兼財資市場公會理事會主席陳維民表示,過去20年本港日均外匯交易金額增長逾六倍,至去年的6,700億美元,全球排名由第6位上升到第4位。以港元計價的未償還債券總額亦由2005年的6,640億元增至2024年超過2.8萬億元。
他指出,財資市場公會在推廣實踐、促進產業合作、增強市場競爭力和發展方面發揮重要作用,未來將更加著重反映市場意見和提出政策建議,使本港財資市場更有效率、更具競爭力和前瞻性。
