印度航空6月空難死者家屬入稟美法院向波音(BA.US)及霍尼韋爾(HON.US)索償
4名印度航空波音(BA.US)787客機空難乘客家屬入稟美國特拉華州高等法院,向波音及飛機部件商霍尼韋爾(HON.US)提出索償。該宗6月12日發生的空難導致260人死亡。
入稟狀指,事故是由涉嫌故障的燃料開關造成,又指美國聯邦航空管理局2018年建議包括航空公司檢查波音787客機在內多款機型的燃料切斷開關鎖定機制,確保不會被意外移動。印度初步調查報告指,印度航空未進行建議的檢查,維修記錄顯示涉事飛機油門控制模組,包括燃料開關,曾於2019年和2023年被更換。
美國聯邦航空管理局表示,有關開關似乎並未導致該宗事故。
