巴拿馬運河擬出售兩個新港口經營權 引入更多競爭
《華爾街日報》報道,巴拿馬運河管理局負責人Ricaurte Vasquez Morales表示,計劃出售兩個待建港口的經營權,以引入更多營運商來加強競爭,並限制任何單一集團的影響力,因地中海航運及中遠海運集團已成為現有兩個巴拿馬運河港口控制權之爭的重要參與者。
此前有傳,中遠海運尋求在長和(00001.HK)的230億美元出售港口交易中持有至少20%至30%的股權,若集團未能成為這些港口的合作夥伴及股東,中國政府有可能阻止交易。
Vasquez稱,無論該交易的最終形式如何,預計新港口的招標過程將在年底前完成,預計將有其他潛在營運商參與投標,但中遠海運將被禁止參與新港口的招標,因為該集團是一個政府實體。報道引述消息人士表示,馬士基旗下的港口子公司APM Terminals及法國達飛海運集團(CMA CGM)預計將提出報價。
