美國宣佈將對進口銅產品徵收50%關税
當地時間7月30日，美國白宮網站發佈事實清單稱，美國總統特朗普當日簽署公吿，從8月1日起將對進口的銅半成品和銅含量高的衍生品統一徵收50%的關税。同日，白宮發表聲明稱，特朗普簽署行政令，暫停對低價值貨物的最低限度免税待遇。
受消息影響，COMEX銅期貨價格大跌18.78%，報4.537美元/磅。
韓國接受15%關税+3500億對美投資
美國總統特朗普表示，他已與韓國達成貿易協議，將對韓國輸美商品徵收15%關税，同時韓國承諾向美國投資3500億美元。雙方還同意，韓國將全面開放與美國的貿易，並接受包括汽車和卡車、農業等在內的美國產品。
此外，特朗普簽署行政命令，對巴西加徵40%關税，使總關税額達到50%，7日後生效。
美聯儲維持利率不變，決議出現罕見分歧
美聯儲週三維持利率不變，決議過程出現罕見分歧，聲明未明確何時可能降息。此次決議遭到兩位由特朗普任命的理事——沃勒和鮑曼的反對，兩人均認為當前的貨幣政策過於緊縮。這是30多年來首次有兩名理事在決議中投出反對票。FOMC以9比2投票決定將基準隔夜利率維持在4.25%-4.50%區間，連續第五次會議按兵不動。
“小非農”高於預期！美國7月ADP就業人數增加10.4
美國7月ADP就業人數增加10.4萬人，增幅為3月以來最大，預估為增加7.5萬人，前值(6月)ADP新增就業人數從減少3.3萬人上修為減少2.3萬人。ADP報吿顯示，7月份工資升幅幾乎沒有變化。7月份，留職員工的薪資同比增長4.4%，換職員工的薪資同比增長7%。
加拿大央行維持利率不變
加拿大央行連續第三次將基準利率維持在2.75%不變，符合市場預期。
META第二季度淨利潤183.37億美元 同比增長36%
META平台股份有限公司第二季度營收475.2億美元，同比增長22%，預估448.3億美元，淨利潤183.37億美元，同比增長36%，經營利潤204.4億美元，同比增長38%，預估172.4億美元，公司第二季度每股收益7.14美元，上年同期5.16美元，預估5.89美元。Meta目前預計全年資本支出將在660億美元至720億美元之間，較此前640億至720億美元的預期有所提高。
微軟：第四財季淨利潤達272億美元 同比增長24%
微軟第四財季營收764.4億美元，同比增長18%，預估738.9億美元，其中智能雲業務營收298.8億美元，預估291億美元。第四財季淨利潤達272億美元，同比增長24%，每股收益3.65美元，上年同期2.95美元。微軟美股盤後跳升超7%。
谷歌據報將在印度南部投資60億美元建設數據中心
政府消息人士週三表示，谷歌(GOOG.US)將投資60億美元，在印度南部安得拉邦開發一個1吉瓦的數據中心和電力基礎設施，這是Alphabet子公司在印度的首次此類投資。安得拉邦政府的兩名知情人士表示，該數據中心將建在港口城市維沙卡帕特南，投資包括20億美元的可再生能源產能，將用於為該設施供電。
