美國眾議院將調查Spotify(SPOT.US)是否審查用戶言論自由
據《紐約郵報》周二報道,美國國會眾議院司法委員會對音樂平台Spotify(SPOT.US)是否審查用戶言論自由展開調查,並要求該公司提交與外國政府及美國政府官員的所有聯絡紀錄。
美國俄亥俄州共和黨眾議員Jim Jordan向Spotify行政總裁Daniel Ek發出的一封信,批評英國及歐盟近期實施的新法例,強制社交媒體平台審查錯誤資訊及有害內容,違反美國憲法保障的言論自由。
根據報道,Jordan在信中表示,該些外國法律和司法命令或限制美國人訪問,並損害在美國受憲法保護的言論。
