美國聯合航空(UAL.US)夜盤跌超2.1%,報86.6美元。消息面上,聯合航空公佈,截至6月底止第二季收入同比增長1.7%至152.4億美元,但低於市場預期的153.5億美元;淨利潤9.73億美元,同比下滑26%;經調整後每股盈利3.87美元,預期爲3.81美元。
公司CEO Scott Kirby表示,第二季本地旅客需求較年初預期疲弱,機票價格有所下降。他認爲,當前經營情況較不明朗,比年初時更難預測。公司最新估計,年度每股盈利介乎9至11美元,市場預期爲10美元。該公司在4月曾提出基於兩種經濟環境的估計,年度每股盈利分別是11.5至13.5美元,以及7至9美元(假設美國經濟陷入衰退)。(格隆匯)
