UPS向送貨司機提供自願離職補償 工會批違反合約條款
聯合包裹速遞公司(UPS.US)周四宣布,將向受工會送貨司機提供俗稱「肥雞餐」的自願買斷離職計劃,作為精簡營運規模的措施之一。公司稱,離職員工可獲得優厚的財務補償,並可保留既有退休福利,包括退休金及醫療保障,但未透露具體人數。
代表UPS司機與倉務員的「國際卡車司機兄弟會」對該「肥雞餐」計劃表達強烈不滿,指責計劃是直接違反全國性勞工合約的企業陰謀。
UPS早於4月已預告,今年內將裁減多達2萬名工人,並關閉數十個設施,主要因亞馬遜訂單量減少。
