美國Yardeni研究指金價升至每盎司4,000美元只是時間問題
外媒報道,美國股評人Ed Yardeni創辦的Yardeni Research發表報告,指出金價升至每盎司4,000美元是時間問題,而非會否發生的問題,因為央行需求不斷增加以及對美元的信心減弱正在推動金價上漲。
報告指,美國總統特朗普不顧債務的財政政策和對美聯儲獨立性的攻擊,推動有關走勢。沙地阿拉伯正考慮加入金磚國家,並可能將石油定價轉向人民幣,或削弱長期以來的石油美元框架。雖然美元仍佔全球儲備58%,但美國應謹慎行事。如特朗普試圖解僱鮑威爾,可能加速黃金飆升。報告亦引述瑞銀評論,指出持續的不確定性增加分散投資組合需求,對黃金有利。
報告表示,如果貨幣管理當局繼續搶購黃金,未來經濟學家可能會回顧美國因美元主導地位而獲得的「過度特權」,將其視為一種「野蠻的遺物」。
