美國國家運輸安全委員會就飛機機門脫落事件批評波音(BA.US)
美國國家運輸安全委員會就阿拉斯加航空一架波音(BA.US)737 MAX 9飛行途中機門脫落事故發表報告,指摘波音未能提供適當訓練、指引及監管,並猛烈批評公司安全文化及未能在生產期間為肇事機門安裝螺栓,同時批評美國聯邦航空管理局監管不力。
委員會主席Jennifer Homendy指事件完全可避免,因波音應處理最少十年來於內部審核期間發現的未經授權生產,又指未有人因此死亡或嚴重受傷屬奇跡。委員會批評波音欠缺在職培訓,公司亦正強化設計以確保機門在未上緊螺栓前不會關上。
波音表示對意外感到遺憾,並正在工作以強化安全及質素監管。聯邦航空管理局亦表示已基本改變對波音的監察,並繼續進取地監察確保波音處理系統性生產質素問題。
