美前財長:特朗普稅收與支出法案將削弱美國國力
外電報道,美國前財長薩默斯表示,美國總統特朗普的稅收與支出計劃將增加美國的債務負擔,令美國變得脆弱,因美國作爲全球最大的債務國,其債務積累速度比任何其他國家要快,這將危及美國作爲全球最大強國的地位。
他稱,美國債務上升有三個原因,包括65歲以上人口增長、政府支付的各項費用增加,以及財政部所支付的利息。最新提出的稅收與支出法案將爲美國帶來無力承擔的鉅額債務,法案將令年度財政赤字佔GDP的比例遠超過7%,而過去兩年這個比例已超過6%,屬於經濟衰退或戰爭等危機時期以外從未出現過的數字。
