IATA總幹事指油價下跌助業界抵銷需求放緩影響
國際航空運輸協會(IATA)總幹事Willie Walsh接受《彭博電視》訪問時表示,全球航空業正受惠油價下跌,因為航空煤油成本下降,正幫助降低機票價格。
他指油價通常是業界最大單一成本,油價與機票價格幾乎存在直接關聯,如果需求減弱,油價下跌有助業界抵消任何放緩的影響。
他亦表示,雖然較低機票價格通常會刺激需求,但亦顯然會降低整個行業的總收入。
