Zhi Yaohui: Nvidia(NVDA.US) has a good performance period and the pattern of ups and downs in the Hengshui Index remains unchanged
Zhi Yaohui, director of research at Yaocai Securities, said that while investors were waiting on the performance of Nvidia(NVDA.US), the performance of the three major U.S. stock indexes was soft the next night (28th), with the Dow falling 0.58%, and the S & P 500 index and the Nasdaq falling 0.56% and 0.51% respectively. After the close, Nvidia also announced its first-quarter results, which beat market expectations. While its share price improved after hours, the three major U.S. stock indexes also rebounded.
As for A-shares, both the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets maintained a narrow range of ups and downs. The Shanghai Composite Index's full-day volatility was less than 12 points. However, due to the lack of follow-up in the market, it eventually fell slightly by less than 1 point to close at 3,339 points. The Shenzhen Component Index also weakened due to a lack of buying. It also fell below the 10,000-point mark during the session. The market rebounded slightly and finally closed at 10,003 points, down 0.26%. Both indices, together with the GEM index, both fell for five consecutive years. Transactions in the large market increased slightly to 1.01 trillion yuan.
Hong Kong stocks rose first and then retreated yesterday. The Hang Seng Index opened slightly higher by 3 points and then expanded to 94 points. However, as the trend of "ATM" deteriorated, the Hang Seng Index also turned from rising to falling. In the afternoon, the decline even exceeded 200 points, and the low reached 23,180 points. Before the close, the Hang Seng Index rebounded, but it still fell 123 points or 0.53 points for the whole day to close at 23,258 points. The index also fell 0.15% to close at 5,174 points. The full day's turnover shrank to about 181 billion yuan.
Although the Hang Seng Index fell yesterday, it still held steady at 23,200 points, reflecting that the range has not changed. Unless the trend of A-shares improves and new progress is made in the trade agreement, the Hang Seng Index will continue to rise and fall this week (23,000 to 23,800 points).
