甲骨文(ORCL.US)將爲OpenAI項目購買價值400億美元苦偉達晶片
據《金融時報》週五報道,甲骨文(ORCL.US)計劃購買約400億美元的英偉達(NVDA.US)晶片,並將計算能力租予OpenAI。
報道引述幾個熟悉交易的消息人士表示,晶片將用於OpenAI在於德克薩斯州的美國新數據中心,以滿足運行高級模型所需的高功率需求。該設施被爲美國的第一個星際之門(Stargate)項目。完成後該設施將提供1.2吉瓦的電力,使其成爲全球最大的數據中心之一。
參與購買的晶片總數約爲40萬片。該地點的所有者Crusoe及美國投資公司Blue Owl Capital已籌集150億美元的債務和股本以資助Abilene項目,將建造八棟建築,去年6月已經動工。數據中心預計將在2026年中全面營運。
