美國聯邦貿易委員會撤回就微軟(MSFT.US)收購動視暴雪上訴
美國聯邦貿易委員會(FTC)撤回試圖阻止微軟(MSFT.US)690億美元收購遊戲製作商動視暴雪的案件,稱對該項早已完成的交易繼續追究不符合公衆利益。
FTC在本月7日被裁定其上訴遭駁回,有關上訴試圖推翻法官拒絕阻止微軟及動視暴雪交易的決定,該交易已於2023年完成。儘管FTC敗訴,但本來仍可在7月進行的聆訊中尋求撤銷該宗收購。
微軟收購動視暴雪爲視頻遊戲市場有史以來最大宗收購案。FTC聲稱,該併購將使微軟能夠排擠Xbox遊戲主機及其訂閱與雲端遊戲業務的競爭對手。
