香港中華煤氣行政總裁黃維義出席WGC2025大會論壇 共議全球區域燃氣發展多樣性
5月21日，香港中華煤氣行政總裁黃維義作爲WGC2025"全球區域燃氣發展的多樣性"圓桌論壇嘉賓，分享了集團多年來在燃氣領域的區域化發展、多元業務佈局及能源轉型中的創新實踐。該論壇由國際燃氣聯盟副主席、意大利天然氣管網公司高級顧問Andrea Stegher主持，切尼爾能源總裁兼首席執行官Jack Fusco，尼日利亞液化天然氣公司首席運營官Philip Mshelbila共同參與研討。
黃維義在發言中回顧了香港中華煤氣的發展歷程，表示集團從一家香港本地燃氣供應商起步，現發展爲服務中國超4400萬客戶的綜合能源供應商，覆蓋約1.2億人口，主持人Andrea Stegher稱這相當於意大利的2倍人口規模。
黃維義特別指出，集團一直與時俱進，堅持環保理念、創新驅動。成立於1862年的香港中華煤氣最初使用煤炭制氣，後轉爲更環保的石腦油、天然氣作爲生產原料，減少溫室氣體排放。集團在1994年進入中國內地市場，藉助粵港文化優勢，先在廣東省成立兩家合資企業，後逐步在全國100多個城市發展燃氣業務，並拓展供水及城市廢物處理業務。"有人覺得水火不容，但我認爲兩者具有協同效應，我們的燃氣客戶也使用水資源，共享管道鋪設既能降低成本，也能提高客戶便利性。"
談及如何利用技術創新推動環境治理，黃維義表示，爲落實國家"雙碳"目標，集團立足40多萬工商業客戶，爲高污染企業提供屋頂分佈式光伏、儲能、綠電交易等能源解決方案，並佈局可持續航空燃料(SAF)和綠色甲醇等綠色能源業務，同時利用香港現有燃氣管道中約含50%氫氣的特性，探索安全、低成本的氫能提取技術及應用場景，持續改善空氣質量。
此外，黃維義還以香港中華煤氣櫥櫃品牌Mia Cucina爲例，主持人Andrea Stegher稱該品牌名是意大利文，英文"My Kitchen"(我的廚房)之意。Mia Cucina通過在爐具、廚房設備等方面不斷創新，爲客戶提供一站式廚房解決方案，打造實用、高效的廚房環境，助力提升生活品質。
面對AI技術對行業未來的影響，黃維義強調AI不會替代人力，運用AI進行數據分析和預測，有助於優化運營流程，降低人力成本，更好地滿足客戶的能源需求。針對能源轉型問題，他希望政府制定合理的政策，避免"一刀切"的監管方式，呼籲區域加強協作，通過基礎設施互聯，降低終端用能成本，提升能源可負擔性，構建長期可持續的燃氣行業生態。
