香港中華煤氣(00003.HK)綠色甲醇成首個獲TüV南德碳足跡認證項目
(2025年5月21日)隨着全球航運業致力於2050年前實現淨零碳排放，綠色甲醇正成爲推動航運業減碳的重要燃料選擇。香港中華煤氣有限公司(以下簡稱"煤氣公司")憑藉自主技術，將生物質及都市廢棄物轉化爲綠色甲醇，獲得TüV南德意志集團(TüV南德)頒發産品碳足跡覈查聲明，成爲首個獲得此認證的綠色甲醇項目，彰顯煤氣公司在發展綠色能源的努力。
綠色甲醇是一種由可再生資源如生物質和城市廢棄物製成的化工品，作爲燃料使用時排放的溫室氣體大幅低於傳統化石燃料，安全、技術成熟，且適合用於船舶等交通工具，幫助航運業減少碳排放，符合國際海事組織設定的減碳目標；作爲化工原料使用時可以助力甲醇全產業鏈深度脫碳，儘早達成國家「雙碳」目標。
煤氣公司位於內蒙古鄂爾多斯的廠房生產的綠色甲醇，經由TüV南德依據ISO 14067:2018標準，對其從原料採集、運輸、生產到廢棄物處理的全生命週期進行嚴格評估。結果顯示，該產品的碳排放量符合國際標準，證明其生產過程具有顯着的低碳效益，並正式獲得碳足跡覈查聲明。
煤氣公司營運總裁—綠色燃料及化工岑文輝感到鼓舞，「這項認證有助我們更全面瞭解自身的溫室氣體排放源、排放量及潛在風險，發掘更有成本效益的減排方案。這將使我們在亞洲綠色甲醇生産商中佔有領先優勢，爲後續打開綠色甲醇在化工應用領域的市場奠定堅實基礎。」他又指，煤氣公司的綠色甲醇項目既是全國首家公司獲得ISCC EU及ISCC PLUS雙重國際認證，今次更成爲首個獲得綠色甲醇碳足跡認證的項目，是對我們技術創新和可持續發展最好的肯定。
TüV南德大中華區管理服務部總監方華表示：「煤氣公司的綠色甲醇，生産過程符合國際碳減排標準，並具備顯着的低碳效益。這不僅爲中國乃至亞洲的綠色甲醇發展樹立了標杆，也爲全球碳中和目標的實現提供了可複製的解決方案。」方華指出，綠色甲醇作爲清潔能源載體，對航運及化工等高碳排行業的減碳具有重要意義，衷心感謝煤氣公司對可持續發展的高度承諾，以及各合作方的共同努力。
