伯克希爾計劃發行日元優先票據,巴菲特又加碼日本股票?
最新消息稱,股神巴菲特旗下伯克希爾正式申請發行日元優先票據。巴菲特這一最新舉動,引發市場遐想,其可能會進一步增加在日本股市的投資。
日本大和證券公司策略師石户谷厚子説:“伯克希爾哈撒韋發行日元債的計劃,令人猜測這家企業是否將買入更多商社股票。”
巴菲特近幾年頗為青睞日本股市。2020年8月,伯克希爾公司首次宣佈,持有日本“五大商社”5%的股份。
去年4月伯克希爾發行日元債後,巴菲特隨即訪問日本,並會見了日本商社高管。巴菲特在接受《日本經濟新聞》採訪時表示,非常看好日股,並考慮進一步加大對日本股票的投資。他還透露,已經將伯克希爾在日本的五大商社持股比例提高到了7.4%,並稱這是伯克希爾在美國以外的最大投資。
隨後,巴菲特便宣佈增持三菱商事和伊藤忠商事等公司的股票。2023年6月,伯克希爾公司宣佈,已將其持股比例增至8.5%以上。此舉提振了外界對日本整體股市的信心,並推動日本股市創出34年新高。
今年2月,在致股東信中,巴菲特透露,伯克希爾公司已經持有上述5家公司約9%的股份。
芒格透露過巴菲特在日本借錢買入日本股票的邏輯在於:“日本的利率是每年0.5%,為期10年。所以你可以提前10年借到所有的錢,你可以買股票,這些股票有5%的股息,所以有大量的現金流,不需要投資,不需要思考,不需要任何東西。”
巴菲特在股東信中稱,多元化業務、高股息、高自由現金流、審慎增發新股是其青睞“五大商社”的重要原因。關於何時賣出這筆投資,巴菲特表示,伯克希爾公司計劃持有這些投資10到20年。
巴菲特曾透露,考慮購買五大商社以外的日本股票,並稱如果股票進一步被低估將啟動追加投資的想法。
此次如果傳聞成真,意味着伯克希爾公司將成為日本央行取消負利率政策後,第一家在日本市場發行日元債券的大型非金融海外債券發行人。
儘管市場傳聞巴菲特將增持日本,不過近期資金面上外資有撤離日本的跡象。
外資3月底淨賣出日本股票現貨和期貨的規模創6個月新高。據日本交易所集團數據,外國投資者在截至3月29日的一週淨賣出了1.18萬億日元(約合人民幣562億元)的股票現貨和期貨,創出了2023年9月最後一週以來的最高水平。
分析人士指出,外國投資者拋售的主要原因是,有資金在獲利了結,有基金在做季度末倉位調整。
