金管局發函要求銀行爲打風開市做準備 建議維持部分紙本支票結算服務
金管局就港交所(00388.HK)對打風開市諮詢工作向銀行發出通函,銀行應開始規劃在惡劣天氣下如常交易的安排,目前仍建議銀行維持一定的紙本支票結算服務,但強調數碼化趨勢無法逆轉,日後應再作研究。
通函稱,香港銀行同業結算有限公司將會發出技術指引,並將會舉辦一次簡報會,協助銀行爲惡劣天氣下清算及結算過程做好準備,建議銀行應熟習指引,確定需要提升的系統併爲之後的模擬測試做好準備。另外,金管局亦稱,銀行需要規劃在惡劣天氣下支援相關運作的資源,例如客戶服務熱線及電話銀行服務等,若這些工作不能遠程操作,銀行應確保員工安全進入銀行處所工作。
