通用汽車:工會勞資協議令成本增加93億美元
通用汽車(GM.US)周三公布業務最新情況,預計與美國汽車工人聯合會(UAW)和加拿大工會Unifor簽訂的新勞動合約,將令公司成本增加93億美元,交易期間每輛車成本增加約575美元。
通用汽車預計,勞動成本於2024年至2027年將每年分別增加15億、18億、21億及25億美元,及2028年1月至4月期間增加11億美元成本。
通用汽車行政總裁瑪麗巴拉周三在一份聲明中表示,公司正在敲定明年的預算,該預算將「完全抵銷新勞工協議的增量成本」。
通用汽車預計,到2024年,每輛車成本將增加500美元。上個月對手福特(F.US)預計,每輛車組裝成本將增加850至900美元。
通用汽車除披露勞工協議預期影響外,亦提及將啟動100億美元加速股票回購,增加股息,並恢復2023年全年盈收指引。
通用汽車稱,美國工會罷工令2023年調整後息稅前利潤(EBIT)損失11億美元,該勞動合約和Unifor 協議的額外工資、獎金和其他福利將導致該公司再損失11億美元。
