陳茂波:港府未來15至20年投入約300億美元用於綠色轉型
財政司司長陳茂波出席一個論壇致辭時表示,綠色轉型需要龐大資金支持,市場估計在未來30年,亞洲地區需要66萬億美元的氣候投資,中國就需要14萬億美元,因此單靠政府不足以支持龐大支出,而需要私人市場支持。
陳茂波表示,施政報告中提到,將於明年初制訂《香港氫能發展策略》,而在未來15至20年,政府將會投入約300億美元用作綠色轉型相關措施,相信政府投入將帶動私人市場投資,增加市場對綠色措施帶來好處的關注。
他表示,有信心香港能成為國際綠色金融中心,去年在港發行的綠色和可持續債務總額,按年增長超過40%,至逾800億美元;他表示,港交所(00388.HK)推出國際碳市場Core Climate交易平台,是目前國際上唯一提供以港幣及人民幣結算自願碳信用的交易平台,政府的目標是令香港成為全球性的綠色轉型市場。(ca/w)
