環聯:香港消費者家庭收入日趨改善 對未來展望普遍樂觀
環聯(TRU.US)發布最新的2023年第四季消費者脈搏調查,顯示香港消費者已走出疫情陰霾,整體家庭收入較上季有所改善,並對2024年的收入狀況感到樂觀。是次調查於2023年10月進行,結果顯示不論收入水平,很多香港消費者在過去三個月的收入均有所增加。整體而言,38%受訪者表示家庭收入有所增長,較去年第四季增加17個百分點,反映經濟狀況普遍改善。此外,相近比例的受訪者亦表示目前家庭財政狀況在過去三個月比預期好(39%)或符合預期(38%)。
縱觀不同世代的消費者,Z世代(出生於1995年至2004年)及X世代(出生於1965年至1979年)受訪者的收入增長最為顯著。57%受訪的Z世代消費者表示過去三個月收入有所增加,較去年同期上升19個百分點。44%的X世代消費者亦表示其家庭收入有所增長,按年升30%。表示收入增加的千禧世代(出生於1980年至1994年)消費者及嬰兒潮世代(出生於1944年至1964年)消費者比例亦出現上升趨勢,惟按年增幅較低。
儘管趨勢愈見樂觀,然而26%受訪者仍憂慮如期繳付帳單和償還貸款。為應對可能的財務困難,40%受訪消費者表示已在過去三個月削減非必要開支。此外,亦有45%受訪者表示對通脹感到擔憂。這些數據均顯示,在經濟前景不明朗時,許多消費者仍傾向審慎理財。
調查亦發現香港消費者對明年的收入水平普遍樂觀。46%受訪者對未來12個月的家庭財政狀況感到樂觀,較去年同期增長10個百分點。同時亦有43%受訪者預期明年收入將會增加,相同比例的受訪者亦預測可維持目前的收入水平。在不同世代的消費者中以Z世代最為樂觀,68%預期明年收入有正面變化,按年增長19個百分點。
調查結果亦顯示,香港消費者越發重視信貸和貸款產品,以實現自身財務目標,為信貸市場帶來正面信號。49%受訪者認為獲得信貸和貸款產品很重要,高於去年第四季的42%,更有18%表示非常重要。Z世代和X世代消費者對信貸和貸款產品的重視程度更高,分別達62%和51%。然而,高昂的成本、繁瑣的流程和擔心被拒絕等因素均妨礙了四成受訪者申請新信貸,顯示金融機構需解決這些問題,以進一步推動普惠金融發展。
