德國批准金融改革 以協助科技產業與美國矽谷競爭
德國周五批准其科技新創公司股票薪酬、公司上市和稅收規則的一系列修改,並將於2024年1月1日生效,以提高能力與美國矽谷爭搶科技優秀人才。
根據新規定,對員工股票選擇權的徵稅將推遲到出售股份,員工不會面臨在收到股票後立即需要繳交股票稅款的情況,以提高科技員工的留任率。
Index Ventures合夥人Martin Mignot稱,德國法律上員工持股的行政問題非常麻煩,每個少數股東幾乎都有投票權和否決權,而且稅收優惠很少,令公司幾乎不可能有真正的員工持股計劃。歐洲科技新創公司無法與Alphabet(GOOGL.US)、亞馬遜(AMZN.US)、Meta(META.US)和微軟(MSFT.US)等美國科技龍頭提供的薪酬相匹配,但股票選擇權提供另一種在薪酬方面競爭的方式。
