Arm行政總裁:美國很難切斷中國晶片供應
Arm行政總裁Rene Haas表示,美國政府切斷中國獲得軍用尖端晶片的目標將很難透過出口管制來實現。較早時美國商務部宣布,計劃在未來數星期內限制向中國出售更先進的人工智能晶片,包括Nvidia(NVDA.US)旗下H800,新規定旨在彌補去年人工智能晶片出口限制生效後出現的漏洞。
Haas表示,Arm目前正在評估新規,而新規旨在收緊GPU或圖形處理器單元的銷售,而GPU是運算系統中各種元件的一部分,牽涉的組件非常多,若美國要完全切斷中國取得供應將是一件非常困難的事。
