傳港股打風開市有初步共識 港交所(00388.HK)最快今季公衆諮詢
《星島日報》引述消息人士報道,港交所(00388.HK)領導的工作小組正加快推進打風開市安排,並就證券商最關注打風開市支票無法結算問題取得共識,建議打風下銀行分行依舊關門不收票,但需要結算上日所收的支票,同時又提議證券商採用電子轉帳方式。
報道稱,銀行公會亦正就相關建議收集業界意見,而港交所或最快於今季進行公衆諮詢,預計最快明年第二季銀行能配合支援打風開市的支票結算安排,但認爲最終落實打風開市時間仍需視乎諮詢期間所遇的阻力有多大。
港交所表示, 一直致力提升香港市場的吸引力,並積極與政府及監管機構研究市場在惡劣天氣下繼續運作安排,確保人員安全仍是最重要的考慮因素。銀公則稱,配合港交所推動惡劣天氣下維持股票市場運作,銀公一直與會員銀行保持溝通,並與港交所及其他持份者持續交換意見。
