2023年諾貝爾化學獎揭曉！三位量子點研究者獲獎
北京時間10月4日下午，2023年諾貝爾化學獎名單正式揭曉。
因發現和合成量子點
瑞典皇家科學院4日宣佈，將2023年諾貝爾化學獎授予美國麻省理工學院教授蒙吉·G·巴文迪(Moungi G. Bawendi)、美國哥倫比亞大學教授路易斯·E·布魯斯(Louis E. Brus)和美國納米晶體科技公司科學家阿列克謝·伊基莫夫(Alexey I. Ekimov)，以表彰他們在量子點的發現和發展方面的貢獻。
2023年每項諾貝爾獎的獎金由去年的1000萬瑞典克朗，增加到1100萬瑞典克朗，約合人民幣725萬元。
化學獎是瑞典化學家、硝化甘油炸藥發明人阿爾弗雷德·伯恩哈德·諾貝爾（Alfred Bernhard Nobel）在遺囑中提到的設立獎項的研究領域之一。
諾貝爾化學獎旨在獎勵在化學領域做出重要發現或發明的科學家。自1901年首次頒發以來，諾貝爾化學獎已頒獎115次，獲獎人數超過190人。
四小時前鬧烏龍
值得關注的是，這一獲獎名單與早前泄露的一份名單完全重合。
據瑞典媒體報道，在距2023年諾貝爾化學獎評選結果發佈僅剩約四個多小時前，瑞典皇家科學院竟然發生誤發電子郵件的“烏龍事件”。
據報道，諾貝爾化學獎得主最早將於當地時間今早11點45分公佈，但瑞典皇家科學院早在07:31就發出了一封標題為“他們為納米技術播下了重要種子”的電子郵件。
其中包含的一份新聞稿稱，“2023年諾貝爾化學獎獎勵量子點和納米粒子的發現和開發，這些納米粒子非常小，其尺寸決定了其特性”。電子郵件還包括將美國劍橋麻省理工學院的Moungi G. Bawendi，美國量子晶體科技公司的Alexei I. Ekimov和美國紐約哥倫比亞大學的Louis E. Brus列為獲獎者。
事發後，諾貝爾委員會及時進行了澄清，幾位委員會成員強調尚未就該問題做出任何決定。諾貝爾化學委員會專家海納·林克對當地媒體表示：“我們還沒有做出決定，所以發佈新聞稿絕對是一個錯誤。”
瑞典皇家科學院現任常務祕書漢斯·埃萊格倫（Hans Ellegren）已通過電子郵件通知該學院的所有成員有關錯誤郵件的信息。他表示，尚未做出決定，決策會議將按計劃於9:30開始，宣佈將在11:45的新聞發佈會上照常進行。
諾貝爾化學獎的小知識
自1901年到2022年為止，諾貝爾化學獎一共頒發了114次，其中1916年、1917年、1919年、1924年、1933年、1940年、1941年和1942年沒有頒獎。
共有191人次獲得了這一獎項，其中英國生物化學家弗雷德裏克·桑格和美國化學家卡爾·巴里·夏普萊斯兩人獲得兩次。
最年輕的獲獎者是法國科學家弗雷德裏克·約里奧·居里，1935年獲獎時為35歲，和他同時獲獎的還有他的妻子伊雷娜·約里奧-居里（居里夫人的長女）。夫婦二人因在合成新型放射性元素方面有突出貢獻，而被同時授予諾貝爾化學獎。
最年長的獲獎者是2019年獲獎的美國化學家約翰·古德伊納夫，獲獎時已經97歲。“足夠好爺爺”今年6月25日去世，享年100歲。他也是諾貝爾獎所有獲獎者中年紀最大的一位。
