聯邦快遞(FDX.US)公布截至8月底止2024財年首財季績,經調整後每股盈利增長逾三成至4.55美元,高於市場預期,因公司成功削減成本並從UPS(UPS.US)及Yellow等競爭對手搶走客戶。在業績公布後,公司股價升5.8%至264.98美元。
季內為沃爾瑪(WMT.US)等零售商提供包裹快遞服務的部門經營溢利增長59%,航空快遞業則增長18%。聯邦快遞將今財年每股盈利預測上調至17至18.5美元,不過同時下調全年收入預測,預計只會錄得按年持平。
