大新銀行料下半年本港失業率續維持略低於3%
大新銀行經濟研究及投資策略部表示,香港6至8月平均失業率維持在2.8%,續處於2019年社會事件前低位。總勞動人口增加6,900人至近383萬人,或反映各項輸入人才計劃陸續獲批,但勞動人口距離2018年高峰仍相差近17萬人。
期內,勞動參與率升0.1個百分點至57.7%,連續兩個月回升。主要行業失業率普遍變動不大,8月消費及旅行相關行業失業率維持3.7%,續處於2019年中社會事件爆發初期以來最低水平;建造業失業率亦回落0.3個百分點至3.8%,部分或反映一手物業施工量顯著回升所致。
該行預期,下半年本港失業率有望繼續維持略低於3%。政府「行業輸入勞工計劃」中建造業預料本月底前完成首輪審批,或助紓緩相關勞動力需求。另外,政府亦推出多項節日及餐飲推廣活動促進香港夜經濟,短期或增加餐飲零售業人手需求,相關行業失業率亦有望保持較低水平。
