《經濟數據》標普全球8月香港PMI升至49.8 商業信心創兩年半低
標普全球最新採購經理指數(PMI)數據顯示,香港特區私營經濟8月營商環境的走弱幅度有所收窄。經季節調整後,香港特區PMI由7月49.4升至49.8,連續兩月低於50持平點,反映私營經濟再度轉差,惟幅度輕微。
經濟放緩,減弱了市場的基本需求,造成新訂單總量連續第二個月下降,跌幅雖然溫和,但仍高於上月。綜合而言,來自中國內地的新業務由升轉跌,牽引了新增訂單的部分跌幅,儘管8月份出口總體上小幅增長。
隨著新增訂單減少,企業於是輕微減產,並繼而精簡人手,惟供應商表現持續倒退,因此採購活動與庫存水平逆勢向上。此外,成本壓力有放緩跡象,但業者對前景的憂慮加深,因此整體氣氛轉淡,營商情緒自去年11月以來首次轉為悲觀。綜觀過去數據,商業信心跌至2021年2月以來最低。
