陳茂波:調低股票印花稅不足以結構性及長期地刺激交投
財政司司長陳茂波在網誌表示,過去一段時間港股表現顯然並不理想,但客觀數據顯示,調低股票交易印花稅並不足以結構性及長期地刺激股市交投,因此有需要全面地檢視影響市場的各項因素,以全面及綜合的方案對症下藥。否則零散的刺激措施,既無助提振市況,更可能因成效不彰而進一步削弱投資者信心,效果適得其反。
陳茂波又提到,要改善股市表現關鍵在於投資者對後市預期向好,這關乎到入市的資金量及流向,取決於經濟表現、公司業績、是否持續有具潛力的企業上市等,認為這些都不是單純靠下調股票印花稅就可以達致的效果。此前政府已成立促進股票市場流動性專責小組,將全面檢視不同的內外因素,小組將於今個星期召開首次會議。
他指出,未來數月將會出訪歐美等地,親身說明「一國兩制」的獨特優勢為香港發展帶來的新機遇及新潛力,並介紹香港的最新發展,包括創新科技、綠色科技和綠色金融,以及第三代互聯網等。
