大新銀行:本港下半年失業率有望維持略低於3%
大新銀行經濟研究及投資策略部表示,香港失業率回落至逾三年半低位,4至6月平均失業率爲2.9%,按月下跌0.1個百分點。
大新銀行指,總勞動人口增加1.54萬人至380.2萬人,或反映通關後陸續有人迴流香港工作,但勞動人口距離2018年高峯仍相差近19萬人。6月消費及旅行相關行業失業率進一步回落0.2個百分點至4%;建造業失業率回落0.1個百分點至4.2%。另外,藝術、娛樂及康樂活動失業率亦下降0.9個百分點至3.3%,回落幅度相對較大。
大新銀行預期,下半年本港失業率有望維持略低於3%,但由於勞動及就業人口仍明顯低於疫情前水平,或限制本港經濟增長潛力。政府最近公佈「行業輸入勞工計劃」,近日提到各項輸入人才計劃至上月底已批出逾6萬宗申請,相信有助加快紓緩各行業人手不足的問題。(ca/u)
