美汽車工會嚴厲批評福特合資公司獲政府92億美元電池貸款
美國汽車工人聯合會(UAW)主席Shawn Fain周五(24日)嚴厲批評美國能源部計劃向福特汽車(F.US)和韓國SK On合資企業提供92億美元貸款,以建造三座美國汽車電池廠。
Shawn Fain稱,該筆貸款是一筆巨大贈品,不考慮工資、工作條件、工會權利或退休保障,將有助於創造低薪就業機會,並反問為什麼美國政府用納稅人的錢以促進企業的貪婪。
電池合資工廠工人的工資預計將成為下個月與底特律三大汽車製造商開始的合同談判中的一個關鍵問題。
