加拿大通過新聞法案 Facebook將終止向當地用戶提供新聞內容
Meta(META.US)將在加拿大國會批准要求互聯網巨頭向新聞出版商付費的立法生效後,停止加拿大所有用戶訪問Facebook及Instagram上的新聞。
這項名為《網上新聞法案》的立法已在上議院獲得批准,並將待總督御准後正式成為法律。Meta一直聲稱新聞對該公司沒有經濟價值,而且用戶不會使用該平台獲取新聞。
