大新銀行:勞動人口大幅增加 反映通關後陸續有人回流香港
大新銀行經濟研究及投資策略部表示,香港失業率維持三年半低位,3至5月平均失業率為3%,按月持平,距離社會事件前失業率低位2.8%僅高0.2個百分點。總勞動人口增加1.67萬人至378.7萬人,是近九年來最大幅度增加,反映通關後陸續有人回流香港工作。
大新銀行認為,香港經濟活動進一步恢復正常,失業人口已降至低於疫情前水平,失業率能否進一步下跌,主要視乎勞動人口能否及時補充。政府最近公布「行業輸入勞工計劃」,允許最多輸入兩萬名外勞,加上政府早前公布的擴大人才清單至涵蓋51項工種,預料中線長線有助進一步紓緩建造及運輸等行業人手不足問題,但由於審批過程需時,效果或需時顯現。(ca/u)
