梁鳳儀料今年內容許散戶投資者買賣虛擬資產
證監會行政總裁梁鳳儀表示,市場對虛擬資產交易平台實行新發牌制度反應積極,已收到兩間持有自願牌照的交易平台申請《打擊洗錢條例》下的牌照,估計今年內可以容許散戶投資者買賣虛擬資產。
在6月1日前已在香港提供虛擬資產服務的平台須於明年2月底前申請牌照,並有12個月過渡期。梁鳳儀稱,過渡期已盡量平衡市場需要,若證監會最終不打算考慮部分平台的申請,有關平台必須結束業務。
當穩定幣受金管局監管時,證監會才會接受將穩定幣未能納入供零售買賣,時間表須按照相關框架推進。
