渣打:成功參與北向互換通啟動
渣打宣布,今天成功參與香港與內地利率互換市場互聯互通合作北向交易的啟動,包括投資並提供客戶結算及做市商服務,協助國際投資者進入內地銀行間利率互換市場。
渣打香港及大灣區金融市場部主管曾繼志表示,渣打一直大力支持內地開放金融市場,透過香港成熟完善的金融平台,與國際市場接軌,很高興今天順利透過「北向互換通」,高效地完成多筆以人民幣計價的利率互換產品交易,促進內地衍生工具市場的發展,進一步推動人民幣國際化。
曾繼志表示,該行國際機構投資者客戶對於「互換通」啟動反應十分正面,他們對於透過「北向互換通」更有效地管理持有內地債券的利率風險甚感興趣。該行相信隨著國際投資者對內地債券和互換產品市場的認識日漸增加,「互換通」的額度和合資格交易產品將逐步被擴闊,鞏固香港作為超級聯繫人的地位及促進內地金融市場的迅速發展。(ca/w)
