陳健波倡加重濫用兩元乘車優惠罰則 或研究限制乘車次數
針對有人濫用長者兩元乘車優惠,保險界立法會議員陳健波在電台節目上表示,香港人口老化,加上政府財赤嚴重,應要及早正視,制止濫用及欺詐個案
他表示,今年上半年接獲很多有關濫用兩元乘車優惠的投訴,認為情況明顯嚴重,但只靠公共交通機構執法並不準確,例如專線小巴去年只發現一宗懷疑濫用個案,並不能反映真正情況。
陳健波又指,港鐵根據附例向濫用乘車優惠乘客只是罰款500元,對濫用人士來說只是成本,而且不會經常被「抽中」檢控,認為政府應提高相關罰款,或考慮限制每日或每月乘車次數。(ca/u)
