英國否決微軟以690億美元收購 動視暴雪盤前挫逾9%
英國競爭與市場管理局(CMA)表示,反對微軟(MSFT.US)以690億美元收購遊戲遊戲發行商動視暴雪(ATVI.US)的交易,指交易引發對新興雲遊戲市場的競爭擔憂。
動視暴雪盤前大挫超過9%;微軟業績造好,盤前上升超過7%。
微軟一直試圖說服歐洲及英國各國該交易將有利於競爭,計劃提出上訴,指英國當局拒絕解決競爭問題的途徑,並阻礙英國技術創新和投資。
英國競爭與市場管理局則稱,交易令動視暴雪遊戲獨佔微軟雲遊戲平台Xbox Game Pass,並切斷對其他主要行業參與者的分銷,又指微軟在雲遊戲市場開始快速增長之時,若已佔據強勢的地位,或破壞行業創新。
英國競爭與市場管理局於3月中,曾稱排除交易會破壞遊戲機市場競爭的擔憂。
