本港2月零售銷售按年增31.3% 首兩月合計升17.3%
政府統計處公布,今年2月的零售業總銷貨價值的臨時估計為331億元,按年上升31.3%。今年1月的零售業總銷貨價值的修訂估計按年上升6.9%。與去年同期比較,今年首兩個月合計的零售業總銷貨價值的臨時估計上升17.3%。
在今年2月的零售業總銷貨價值中,網上銷售佔7.8%。該月的零售業網上銷售價值的臨時估計為26億元,按年下跌4.1%。今年1月的零售業網上銷售價值的修訂估計按年下跌3.4%。與去年同期比較,今年首兩個月合計的零售業網上銷售價值的臨時估計下跌3.7%。
扣除其間價格變動後,今年2月的零售業總銷貨數量的臨時估計按年上升29.6%。今年1月的零售業總銷貨數量的修訂估計按年上升5.1%。與去年同期比較,今年首兩個月合計的零售業總銷貨數量的臨時估計上升15.5%。
在闡釋這些數字時,必須注意零售業於每年首兩個月的銷貨額一般會受農曆新年時間的影響而較為波動,在該節日前本地市場錄得的消費開支通常處於季節性高位。由於今年農曆新年在1月22日,但上年則在2月1日,因此在作出按年比較時,把1月及2月的零售業銷貨額數字合併分析會較為合適。
按零售商主要類別的銷貨價值的臨時估計由高至低分析,今年首兩個月合計的銷貨額與去年同期比較,珠寶首飾、鐘錶及名貴禮物的銷貨價值上升62.6%。其次為其他未分類消費品(銷貨價值上升13.7%);電器及其他未分類耐用消費品(上升11.4%);食品、酒類飲品及煙草(上升0.1%);服裝(上升47.4%);百貨公司貨品(上升10.4%);藥物及化妝品(上升22.4%);汽車及汽車零件(上升49.3%);燃料(上升14.1%);鞋類、有關製品及其他衣物配件(上升40.4%);中藥(上升51.1%);書報、文具及禮品(上升45.2%);以及眼鏡店(上升53.2%)。
另一方面,今年首兩個月與去年同期比較,超級市場貨品的銷貨價值下跌13.5%。其次為傢具及固定裝置(銷貨價值下跌8.5%)。
截至今年2月底的三個月,與先前三個月比較,經季節性調整的零售業總銷貨價值的臨時估計上升5.6%,而經季節性調整的零售業總銷貨數量的臨時估計則上升4.7%。
政府發言人表示,隨著消費氣氛繼續改善及訪港旅客人數大幅回升,零售業總銷貨價值在2月按年急升,去年比較基數低亦是部分原因。將今年首兩個月的數據合計以消除農曆新年在不同時候出現可能造成的影響,零售業總銷貨價值按年明顯上升17.3%。
展望未來,發言人指出零售業表現將繼續受惠於個人消費及入境旅遊的復甦。
