英國金融行爲監管局稱已檢視LME鎳期貨暫停事件 不作進一步評論
英國金融行爲監管局(FCA)就倫敦金屬交易所(LME)去年3月8日暫停鎳期貨交易事件發表最新聲明。
聲明指,全球商品市場去年經歷波動及困難的流動性狀況,使持續改變交易監管變得重要,但同時影響整個行業。當局當時已要求LME就市場架構定出未來方向,包括推動有效風險管理透明度的角色。LME亦基於外部檢討建議改動其監控框架及承諾更廣泛的市場改革。
當局表示,對LME聚焦增加場外交易透明度以提升交易所內交易的風險管理感到鼓舞,LME董事會執行的檢視工作,推動計劃有效與及時執行,並由當局緊密監察。LME董事會的變動將強化所需技術及經驗,當局亦將在計劃推進期間與英倫銀行緊密合作。
當局亦已檢視鎳期貨交易暫停事件,並已就LME去年1月1日至3月8日期間的部分道德、系統及監控展開執法調查,確認調查基於公衆利益,並在正常政策下不作進一步評論。
