白宮設定了從聯邦設備中清除TikTok的最後期限
27月30日週一，白宮給政府機構30天的時間，以確保他們在聯邦設備和系統上沒有中國擁有的應用程序TikTok。
爲了保證美國數據的安全，所有聯邦機構都必須從手機和系統中消除TikTok，並禁止互聯網流量到達公司，管理和預算辦公室主任Shalanda Young在路透社看到的指導備忘錄中告訴各機構。
國會去年年底下令的這項禁令是在加拿大，歐盟，臺灣和美國一半以上的州採取類似行動之後頒佈的。
設備禁令雖然影響了TikTok美國用戶的一小部分，但是爲徹底禁止視頻共享應用程序的呼聲增添了動力。最近幾周，在中國氣球飄過美國上空後，國家安全對中國擔憂激增。
字節跳動旗下的TikTok表示，這些擔憂是由錯誤信息引發的，並否認使用該應用程序監視美國人。該行動不會影響在私人或公司擁有的設備上使用TikTok的100億多美國人。TikTok沒有立即對白宮備忘錄發表評論。
去年12月，國會投票禁止聯邦僱員在政府擁有的設備上使用中國擁有的視頻應用程序，並給予拜登政府60天的時間發佈機構指令。這次投票是美國立法者打擊中國公司的最新行動，因爲國家安全擔心北京可能會利用它們來監視美國人。
聯邦首席信息安全官克裏斯·德魯沙（Chris DeRusha）表示：“該指南是政府持續致力於保護我們的數字基礎設施和保護美國人民的安全和隱私的一部分。”
包括白宮、國防部、國土安全部和國務院在內的許多政府機構在投票前都禁止TikTok 使用政府設備。
Young的備忘錄說，如果存在國家安全，執法或安全研究活動，TikTok禁令不適用，但機構領導層必須批準這些活動，並且“適用於整個機構的其他例外情況不被允許”。
週二，衆議院外交事務委員會將就一項法案進行投票，該法案將賦予喬·拜登總統禁止TikTok使用所有美國設備的權力。
“我的法案授權政府禁止TikTok或任何威脅美國國家安全的軟件應用程序，”委員會主席邁克麥考爾說。“任何在他們的設備上下載了TikTok的人都給了中國共產黨一個通往他們所有個人信息的後門。這是一個間諜氣球進入你的手機。
美國公民自由聯盟表示，它反對國會禁止TikTok。
白宮備忘錄稱，在90天內，各機構必須通過合同解決IT供應商對TikTok的任何使用問題，並且在120天內，各機構將在所有新的招標中加入對TikTok的新禁令。
週一早些時候，加拿大宣佈禁止TikTok使用政府發行的設備，稱其對隱私和安全構成“不可接受的”風險，加劇了兩國之間日益嚴重的裂痕。
TikTok發言人說，加拿大的禁令“沒有提出任何具體的安全問題或聯繫我們提出問題”。
上週，歐盟兩大決策機構出於網絡安全原因，禁止TikTok員工使用手機。
