《預算案》陳茂波:機管局正計劃機場島建新航空商業園
財政司司長陳茂波發表新一份《財政預算案》,他指為支持航空交通的復甦,機管局將會推出一系列措施,包括減免機場費用、為復辦或新開辦航線提供誘因,以及舉辦大型推廣活動。同時,政府正與機管局檢視航空業中長期的人手短缺問題,並尋求解決方案。
他提到,香港國際機場多個基建項目將會相繼落成啟用,包括「海天中轉大樓」將於今年年中啟用;以及整個三跑道系統預計於明年底完成。香港國際機場的容量將顯著提升,進一步加強其作為區內多式聯運樞紐的角色。機管局正計劃在機場島建設新的航空商業園,並與珠海當局探討在珠海建立航空產業工業園的可行性。
另外,在「機場城市」發展策略下,香港國際機場也正積極發展SKYCITY航天城綜合商業發展項目,並加強物流基建,進一步擴展高貨值貨品和電子商務等業務。
