比爾蓋茨接受ChatGPT採訪：創新是人類最大的希望
上週五，$微軟(MSFT.US)$聯合創始人比爾·蓋茨和英國首相蘇納克在倫敦帝國理工學院會面，並回答了幾個由人工智能聊天機器人提出的問題。
當被問及他收到過的最重要的建議是什麼，以及這條建議對他的事業和生活方式有何影響時，蓋茨提到了他的老朋友沃倫·巴菲特。
蓋茨引用巴菲特的話說：“‘最終，關鍵在於朋友們對你的真實看法，以及這些友誼有多牢固。’”蓋茨說：“這是個很好的建議。”
這位微軟聯合創始人還引用了科學家理查德·費曼的話：“表現出你的困惑是很好的，因爲如果你讓自己假裝知道一些事情，那麼你的思維就會變得馬虎，最終，你根本無法解決問題。”
蓋茨說：“所以，總是很強勢——這樣你真的能得到東西嗎？這對我非常有幫助。”
當被問及什麼給了他最大的希望時，蓋茨說，“人類創新”給了他最大的希望。
他還列舉了人類面臨的問題，包括氣候變化、不平等和嬰兒死亡率。他說，儘管全世界已經成功地通過疫苗將兒童死亡人數從每年1000萬降至500萬，但500萬的數字還是太多了。從積極的方面來看，他指出新的疫苗正在被髮明。
蓋茨說，大流行雖然有害，但卻促進了疫苗科學的發展。
“所以，我的樂觀和希望是，世界各地有更多人接受教育。我們有了更多的信息共享，”蓋茨說：“所以我認爲，儘管現在形勢令人生畏，經濟週期也在挑戰我們，但我認爲未來是光明的。”
這位億萬富翁還指出，帝國理工學院正在研究殺死蚊子的方法。
“如果我們能夠殺死蚊子來幫助我們擺脫瘧疾，我們每年可以挽救40萬人的生命。我們正處在一個創新日新月異的時代，”他補充道。
在被問及他會給年輕時的自己什麼建議時，蓋茨說，在他職業生涯剛剛起步的那些日子裏，他有點“過於緊張”。”“我不相信週末。我不相信假期，”他說。
這樣做的結果就是排除了很多當時可以幫助他的人，但他們“就是不適應”。蓋茨說，這是因爲他“對工作方式和說話方式的看法非常狹隘”。
他指出，這對微軟早期的小團隊來說是可以接受的。“但隨着我們規模的擴大，我不得不意識到，好吧，當你招募銷售團隊時，當你招募有家庭的人時，你必須考慮這個問題。這是一件非常長期的事情。”
“所以我對自己非常嚴格，而且我試圖對別人也這樣要求。”
蓋茨說，如果他能比最後更早一點意識到這一點，他原本可以幫助自己。
