富衛調查:受訪港人憂未來十年醫療開支增長 近四成考慮放棄最佳治療選擇

富衛《大灣區健康保障調查》結果發現,雖然香港市民預計未來龐大醫療支出會帶來沉重財政壓力,但對比其他大灣區城市,香港受訪者相對較少運用醫療保險或危疾保險增加醫療儲備,近四成人士表示日後未必能負擔高昂的醫療費用,或會考慮放棄最佳的治療選擇。 是次調查於去年9月在大灣區11個城市進行,當中訪問了共2,410名市民,包括500位、102位及1,808位分別來自香港、澳門及內地九市、年齡界乎18至60歲的人士,以了解他們如何為自己及家人訂立健康保障計劃,特別有關危疾及醫療支出上的預算。 三地受訪者分別約有六至七成半人預計,自己及家人未來十年醫療支出會大幅增加兩成以上,並預計支出最多的項目是危疾或嚴重疾病,如癌症,心臟病及中風等的治療費用。整體而言,三地約七成受訪者估計,未來十年,自己及家人醫療支出增幅為自己的財政增添非常多壓力或頗有壓力,當中香港(76%)及澳門(78%)受訪者感受壓力的比例較內地受訪者(65%)為高。 雖然感受到壓力,但香港受訪者最常用於應對健康保障不足的策略都偏向被動,包括縮減其他生活開支及從儲備中調動現金;更有接近四成港人表示會放棄治療或更佳的治療條件,是三地中最高。 雖然約九成半受訪港人認為,擁有健康保障是頗重要或非常重要,但平均只有約一半港人有採取實際行動購買醫療保險或危疾保險,比例相對澳門及內地受訪者明顯較低。調查亦反映,港人在購買保險的金額上亦比較保守,約七成多港人每年只花家庭入息比例兩成或以下購買醫療保險或危疾保險;相對澳門受訪者平均有約一半會花兩成以上家庭入息在相關保障上明顯有差距。 三地中以港人對精神健康保障的重視度較低,七成半港人認為覆蓋精神健康(如抑鬱症、焦慮症、創傷後遺症(PTSD)及精神分裂症)的健康保障計劃是頗重要或非常重要的保障項目;反之,約九成澳門及內地受訪者有此看法。
