有線寬頻(01097.HK)：有線電視獲批終止本地收費電視節目服務牌照 明日復牌
格隆匯2月14日丨有線寬頻(01097.HK)公佈，集團的媒體業務包括經營有關電視用户服務的訂購("收費電視")、本地免費電視節目服務("免費電視")、廣吿、頻道轉播、電視轉播服務、節目特許權、戲院放映及其他相關業務。
截至公吿日期，集團已成功推出全新免費電視節目頻道"HOY資訊台"(第78台)，其加盟集團於免費電視市場廣受好評的"香港國際財經台"(第76台)以及"HOYTV"(第77台)(前稱香港開電視)。集團亦已致力提升旗下免費電視廣播訊號的頻譜覆蓋範圍，以至其免費電視服務現已可予香港不少於99%的人口接收。
集團將繼續加強向觀眾提供的免費電視內容，並旨在尋找合適的國際合作機會，以及計劃開拍電視劇。繼集團2021年轉播在日本東京舉行的2020年夏季奧運會後，集團亦將會轉播於2023年在中華人民共和國浙江省杭州市舉行的杭州2022年第19屆亞運會。
另外，集團將繼續投資於其數碼資產，以支援其免費電視業務。集團旗下i-cable.com及hoy.tv網站於2022年12月分別錄得167萬及18.7萬每月活躍用户，按年增長率分別為203%及80%。藉着集團旗下各社交媒體合計超過100萬的追蹤者，集團將會配合發展中的觀眾習慣，繼續優化線上內容傳輸。
監於香港媒體市場結構急速改變，環球付費內容提供者及收費電視經營者競爭日益激烈，公司的間接全資附屬公司香港有線電視有限公司("有線電視")已向政府提交申請並於今天獲得批准終止本地收費電視節目服務牌照。集團將進一步推動戰略轉型，加大投資免費電視頻道和多媒體業務，以更有效利用本地市場結構性轉變帶來的機遇。集團亦將集中及更有效利用資源於媒體業務上，以提高旗下免費電視頻道和多媒體服務的質素、競爭力和影響力，並建設面向全港市民大眾的開放平台。
有線電視在該申請獲批准後將繼續受本地收費電視節目服務牌照的條款和細則約束，直至該牌照終止日期(即直至2023年6月1日(星期四))，其後有線電視將存續而集團會繼續如常營運免費電視頻道服務以及其他業務，包括但不限於寬頻通訊、電話服務、網絡建設、流動通訊，讓有線電視的人才及資源可以更靈活運用和投放於上述的業務發展。
此外，公司已向聯交所申請自2023年2月15日(星期三)上午九時正起恢復股份買賣。
