12月16日，在"金格獎"上市公司頒獎典禮上，優然牧業憑藉"從一棵草到一杯奶"全產業鏈綠色循環可持續發展模式，榮膺"年度可持續發展獎"。
優然牧業業務完整地覆蓋育種、草業、飼料、原料奶生產全產業鏈，各業務相互協同，均做到了行業領先，促進了優然牧業的高成長性，持續鞏固其行業龍頭地位，從2018年至2021年，優然牧業營收從63.34億元增長至153.46億元，年複合增長率高達34.31%。今年上半年，優然牧業實現營收87.07億元，同比增長19.4%，展現出公司良好的經營能力和穩健的增長態勢。
"從一棵草到一杯奶"綠色循環可持續發展模式
作為中國最大的苜蓿草供應商，優然牧業在牧場周邊以租賃或合作種植優質牧草150餘萬畝，依託全產業鏈佈局優勢，實現奶牛養殖和牧草種植的高效協同。優然牧業牧場產生的糞肥，通過自主研發的全混式沼氣厭氧發酵工藝和槽式好氧發酵工藝進行無害化處理，固態部分作為舒適的墊料回填奶牛卧牀；液態部分經過發酵製成有機肥還田，能夠增加土壤有機質，改良土壤肥力，種植的有機牧草供給有機牧場飼餵奶牛。優然牧業特色奶中的有機奶就是通過這種綠色循環的經營模式孕育而生，有機奶的生產過程也充分體現了優然牧業全產業鏈綠色可持續發展的過程。
開發應用低碳飼料 實現源頭減碳、綠色可持續發展
優然牧業是中國最大的反芻動物飼料供應商，擁有近40年的反芻飼料研發、生產經驗。在行業內率先搭建了國內領先的奶牛營養體系，通過自有的中國奶牛主要原料近紅外營養數據庫評價原料營養價值和性價比，推動奶牛精準營養解決方案落地，並且為飼料研發提供了數據支持。優然牧業還是少數幾家在中國乳業上游擁有自主研發技術團隊的公司，並率先開始研究低碳飼料產品，研發了能氮平衡技術、酶工程營養調控技術、氨基酸平衡技術等健康、低碳養殖關鍵技術，通過提高奶牛飼料利用率，減少奶牛瘤胃發酵過程的温室氣體排放量。
憑藉育種技術優勢 推動物種與生態系統的可持續發展
優然牧業下屬企業賽科星是中國最大的奶牛育種企業，為推動物種與生態系統的可持續發展，建立了包括牛、鹿、奶山羊等動物的高效克隆技術體系，為保護內蒙古高原生物多樣性與種質資源提供了技術支持。優然牧業賽科星研究院與內蒙古大學合作建立了種質資源庫，並已經收集蒙古高原地區特有、適應性強、抗病抗逆優勢明顯的牛、羊、馬等家畜、野生動物品種資源168個、超過3萬個資源樣品(包括細胞、精液、胚胎等)，同時重點收集並養殖了蒙古牛、蒙古羊、蒙古馬等20餘種特有家畜品種，開展相關遺傳與育種應用研究。家畜高效克隆新技術開發，將為後期利用幹細胞基因編輯、克隆繁育等現代生物育種技術應用，創新培育具有特定生產性能、抗病抗逆性能和適應特定環境的功能強化奶牛新品系，以及保護該地區生物多樣性提供基礎遺傳物質材料和關鍵技術支撐。
